Garcinol is a naturally occurring compound found in plants like Garcinia indica, Garcinia cambogia, and Garcinia mangostana. It is also found in small amounts in other plants, such as Ziziphus jujuba. Some of the highest food sources of garcinol are the peel and pulp of the Garcinia indica and Garcinia cambogia fruits. Other sources of garcinol include the leaves and bark of the Garcinia indica tree, as well as the fruits of Garcinia mangostana.
