Caffeic Acid Phenethyl Ester (CAPE)

Bee Propolis – The most significant source, mainly from European and Brazilian green propolis.

Honey (Trace Amounts) – Some types of honey, especially propolis-enriched honey, may contain CAPE.

Certain Plants and Fruits (Minor Sources):

Coffea arabica (Coffee Beans) – Contains caffeic acid, but not necessarily in esterified CAPE form.

Echinacea species – Some species have caffeic acid derivatives.

Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) – Contains related phenolic compounds.

Thistle Plants (Cirsium spp.) – Some species may contain CAPE-related compounds.
